IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Tim Conway Jr.
Tim Conway, Jr. was born and raised in the City of Angels and proudly admits he survived 10 years in what he can only describe as a “youth detention center”, the Los Angeles Unified School District. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, Tim Conway of Carol Burnett Show fame, his four younger brothers and one older sister. During his early career, he produced his own internet radio show and thanks to its popularity, he was offered an opportunity to host a radio talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, Conway’s show became famous for providing Southern Californian’s with a wide variety of entertaining topics including live police chases, Hollywood craziness, and sharing current events with a twist of humor. "What The Hell Did Jesse Jackson Say?" was a favorite segment and maintains a substantial cult following to this day. In 2009 when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined forces with KFI-AM 640, the No. 1 news/talk radio station in the country, to continue bringing his unique and comedic perspective to topics like politics, gambling, and more. Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on numerous television programs (Fox 11, CBS, NBC, ABC) and has received various industry honors including: a Golden Mic award, an Edward R. Murrow award, and a Marconi nomination for “Personality of the Year” in 2016. When he’s not busy entertaining listeners, he enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charitable organizations, and hanging out at the racetracks! Engineering.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Danny Bilson
Danny Bilson comes from a long line of writers, from his Grandfather George, who was a producer/writer/director and head of the trailer department at Warner Brothers, to his grandmother Hattie, who interviewed stars for fan magazines and wrote shorts for RKO. After a long television and film career at Warner Brothers, Disney and Paramount himself, Bilson served as a senior executive in the video game industry at both Electronic Arts, and THQ. Danny has experience developing properties in film, video games, TV, theme parks and comic books. Bilson currently has a major motion picture, Da 5 Bloods, directed by Spike Lee, available for streaming on Netflix and front and center in this season’s award chatter. Danny has consulted at Walt Disney Imagineering as well as Tencent games where he runs the Tencent Spectrum training program for their senior producers and developers twice each year. Bilson has been on the faculty of the USC School of Cinematic Arts since 2005, where he teaches screenwriting, narrative design and Advanced Game Production. Danny is Chairman of the Interactive Media and Games Division and was recently appointed Director of USC Games, where he leads the joint program shared by both The School of Cinematic Arts and the Viterbi School of Engineering.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Dr. Annabel Cohen
Annabel Cohen is Professor of Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island and Adjunct Professor in the School of Graduate Studies at Dalhowsie University. She received her B.A. degree from McGill University, her M. A. and Ph. D. from Queen’s University in Psychology, and an Associateship of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. She established the UPEI Music Cognition and Auditory Perception Research and Training Laboratory for studies on musical grammar acquisition and for studies on film music perception, funded by two Canadian national granting agencies. Annabel was Editor of Psychomusicology: Music, Mind, & Brain and is an associate editor of Canadian Acoustics and a consultant on the editorial board for Music Perception, Musicae Scientiae, Music and the Moving Image, and Psychology of Music, and has been highly involved in many aspects of academia related to music in film and other media. She co-edited The Psychology of Music in Multimedia and is an elected Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association, and the Psychonomics Society. Currently, Annabel has a new book entitled Congruence and Association in Film Music is under contract with Oxford University Press.

Gordon has been the Agent/Owner of Big Fish NW Talent since 2001. After completing an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts and working in some Regional Theatre productions, he joined Big Fish NW Talent and was put to the task of opening their Seattle division. IN THE SPOTLIGHT: J.J. Ruscella
JJ is Chief Immersive Officer and Executive Vice President for AccessVR. He’s an innovator in immersive learning and experience design. Formerly Executive Director for the Shenandoah Center for Immersive Learning, in 2020, he led a Brain Trust for Virginia Governor Northam's Smart Communities initiative to build a Virtual City for Virginia, focusing on V-Commerce.
In 2002, he founded the Interactive Performance Lab at University of Central Florida, where he and his team designed one of the first live action simulation stages which would eventually be housed at Lincoln Center in 2016.
Author, award winning film director, critically acclaimed theatre director, and producer, Ruscella has spent a lifetime deploying story across traditional and non-traditional mediums. Clients include: various divisions of the US government and military, corporations, healthcare systems, museums, and educational institutions.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Dr. Jason Kindt, Physician with The Actors Fund
Although he had a passion for the theater and participated in many high school productions, Dr. Jason Kindt quickly realized that his enthusiasm for musical theater does not make up for his lack of pitch. So, he went to medical school. He graduated from Ursinus College in 1995 and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999.
Jason is board certified in Family Medicine and worked for the Reading Health System in Hamburg, PA, where he was voted “best family practice” five years in a row, until 2013. After that he had to be closer to Broadway so he moved to New York City and worked in urgent care in Manhattan, leaving him plenty of opportunity to catch all the shows in town. Dr. Kindt is a theater person at heart and is very excited to be working with this community. He is a loving and caring family physician who is dedicated to helping his patients thrive in every aspect of their lives.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Jeremy Arnold - film historian, commentator and author of TCM's Christmas In the Movies: 30 Classics to Celebrate the Season
Jeremy's new book, The Essentials Vol. 2: 52 More Must-See Movies and Why They Matter, was recently published by Running Press and Turner Classic Movies. It is his second companion book to TCM’s long-running “Essentials” program which profiles the most vital and influential movies in film history.
In addition to the two Essentials books, Jeremy has written Lawrence of Arabia: The 50th Anniversary, two essays in The Call of the Heart: John M. Stahl and Hollywood Melodrama, contributions to Jeanine Basinger’s 2003 edition of The World War II Combat Film: Anatomy of a Genre, numerous essays and liner notes for home entertainment releases, including four Frank Capra titles; and over six hundred programming articles to date for the Turner Classic Movies website.
Jeremy’s commentating work includes fourteen audio commentaries for the Blu-ray or DVD release of classic films, most recently Kiss the Blood Off My Hands (1948) and The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), and stints as a guest host on TCM with Ben Mankiewicz. He joins us today from his home in Los Angeles.
